Advocating art for everybody

Frye Art Museum In-House Design Work

Background

CONTEXT

The Frye Art Museum community-centered and the only free art museum in Seattle that offers a wide range of contemporary and historical exhibitions. It plays an important role in making art accessible to everyone, fostering cultural dialogue and inclusivity through its public programs and exhibitions. By removing financial barriers and focusing on community engagement, the Frye creates a welcoming space where diverse audiences can experience and connect with art.

MY ROLE

As part of the marketing and communications team, I contributed to promoting the museum’s exhibitions and programs through visual design. I created print and digital materials, including posters, brochures, ads, and brand assets that reflected Frye’s mission of accessibility and openness, working in a museum environment aligned deeply with my passion for using design to support cultural spaces, storytelling, and public access to the arts.

Design helps make exhibitions and programs more accessible while supporting the museum’s mission of public access and community connection.
